Currently the pki-tools package has a dependency on tomcat-servlet-x.y-api package. The pki-tools package is actually a client package, so it should not have a dependency on Servlet API.
The dependency seems to be caused by the following method:
public class CertSearchRequest { public void buildFromServletRequest(HttpServletRequest req) { //Set values from the servlet request if (req == null) { return; } } }
The method is actually not used so it should be removed such that pki-tools dependency on tomcat-servlet-x.y-api can be dropped as well.
