The JSS component is used to provide cryptographic access from all Java-based subsystems of Dogtag to NSS.
Fedora and Red Hat operating systems utilize JSS 4.2.6 which exists solely as an SRPM with numerous patches.
The upstream source code for version 4.2.6 of JSS exists on a branch located at the Mozilla Foundation (version 4.3 is the TIP).
After I have obtained check-in privileges and have become the maintainer of JSS, I need to accomplish the following:
- integrate all existing JSS 4.2.6 patches into the JSS 4.3 source code - create JSS 4.3 packages for all Fedora and Red Hat platforms - migrate PKI packages to utilize JSS 4.3 (rather than JSS 4.2.6)
