The JSS component is used to provide cryptographic access from all Java-based subsystems of Dogtag to NSS.

Fedora and Red Hat operating systems utilize JSS 4.2.6 which exists solely as an SRPM with numerous patches.

The upstream source code for version 4.2.6 of JSS exists on a branch located at the Mozilla Foundation (version 4.3 is the TIP), and as there are no current maintainers of the JSS project, I need to work with the Mozilla Foundation to become the maintainer of this package, and obtain check-in access to this project.
