When Fedora branches a new release off rawhide, it takes a while before we know the new release number because (I think) fedfind caches that for 24h. If it's possible to configure a less aggressive cache that's less than the time it takes to run a compose, the server won't need to be restarted to force a cache clear.
This is important because we handle container uploads and openqa wants those (from what I gather of the early morning discussion of broken things in the f44 branching).
