There's already space in the c9s directory for the c8s legacy overlay
so the kernel-rebase.sh script was modified to have a --el8 option that
applies that patch.

I've marked this as DO NOT MERGE for now, as I need to more fully review this.

This is a mistake I meant to only comment/remove that section from the CentOS 8 part, will update in a sec.
