This ticket is a long-term goal for FAmNA to accomplish in 2016.
In recent meetings, the topic of Campus Ambassadors has re-emerged as something of interest. This aligns with the University Involvement Initiative objective identified by the Fedora Council. FAmNA needs to identify a strategy, method(s), and tools that we need to bring the Campus Ambassador program back into the light to try to attract new Ambassadors and contributors from the field.
Fortunately, we have the benefit of having a legacy of infrastructure and planning to build off for this. This is good reference material for coming up with a plan of action soon.

There are currently two items that are preventing this ticket from moving forward.
There was some discussion in the meeting about changes that should be made. I'll try to have the changes made by the next meeting. Otherwise, we can defer this to a future date (I might be short on time next week with BrickHack coming up).

CommBlog article is undergoing some edits / clarification from last meeting (2/25/16) and should be ready for publishing soon, edits, comments from the projects members even those not in the ambassador sub-project or mailing list ARE welcome and encouraged. Efforts to kickstart the actual campus side event bits is a ever evolving process, again suggestions and otherwise brainstorming / braindumps are welcome. Those with any prospective students or universities can indicate and coordinate in the campus ambassadors IRC channel (#fedora-campus-ambas) or the mailing list (https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/campus-ambassadors) or reach out in most channels on IRC with jflory7, myself (linuxmodder), decause, Southern_Gentlemen(kk4ewt), award3535, or nb.

With BrickHack happening, this ticket stepped to the side for me, but with BrickHack done, I'm planning on getting some work done on it in the coming week. For now, until there are definite details to bring up to discuss, I'm leaving this ticket open and removing it from the meeting schedule.
When I originally filed this ticket, there was not an actively meeting FAmSCo and it made sense then to file that here. However, now that we have an actively meeting FAmSCo and that they are working through tickets, this is a ticket that could impact other regions outside of only North America. I filed a new ticket in the FAmSCo Pagure that combined past discussions and seeks their input on reconstructing Campus Ambassadors.
