Hello,

I am opening this ticket to start the funding request process for two events that I will organize/participate in the first quarter of 2013.

The first event is a Fedora Install Fest at UNESP Rio Claro, a public university in Brazil. There is an event page at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_InstallFest_UNESP_Rio_Claro_2013.

The second event is very similar: a Fedora Install Fest at UNICAMP (another public university in Brazil). The event page is at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_InstallFest_UNICAMP_2013.

It is important to mention that both events will be '''Fedora-specific''', which means that only Fedora will be installed in the machines.

For each event, I am asking the following number of Fedora CDs:

I still don't have the price estimates for this, but I will post here as soon as I know.

I forgot to mention/ask: is it possible to also get stickers or swags to distribute in those events? It will be a great opportunity to talk about Fedora for young and motivated students.

I have created a new attachment which includes prices for new quantities of CDs and DVDs, from CDLac http://www.cdlac.com.br/.

According to what have been decided in the last meetings (I can't recall if it was the last one, or the one before), I requested new prices for 1000 DVDs and 1000 mini-DVDs, since Fedora 18 does not provide a LiveCD image anymore.

The prices are:

As the price is way above the initial estimative with CDs + DVDs, maybe a solution will be to burn less media.

The way I see it, it works to do 2000 DVD instead of the mini DVD, that will be 757.97x2=1515,94 which is closes to the approved amount so please proceed with this and try to have a better price for the 2000 DVD.

Ok, since this ticket has become the official ticket for DVDs for Brasil, and according to several discussions that we had on #fedora-latam, I finally ordered the DVDs! I will attach the receipt here in order to ask for the reimbursement.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I did not include the Paypal taxes in that ammount. I will try to know how much the taxes will cost, and update the value.
