GNOME is our primary desktop environment, there are no problem if you ask resources to fedora, for an event where you (as fedora contributor) will attend and promote our community.

Are you asking for, produce locally this swag? take into account that if there a swag available in another countries, they can send to you, but can be difficult due to time, or by customs issues. So, I recommend to you, to produce your swag in your country.

how we ensure that the resources that we allocate for this event (stickers, dvd and similar stuff) will be provided in a meaningful way.
It will be a shame that stickers and DVD will be sitting on a table to anybody to pick up. There should be someone from Fedora to talk to people, to help people understand that gnome and Fedora are together but are not the same.
I am sure that Julita have the best intentions in this regards, but I think is beyond one person to fulfill the event organization and have time to talk to people. She needs help.

Thank you for your comment Neville, I invited Fedora people to talk during the event and they accepted, you can check that in the wiki. You are so right, GNOME is not the same of Fedora. I am planing to give all the attendances the DVDs and stickers and we can do something to prove the materials are well spreading: During the Fedora "online talk", we could ask all the people to show the materials you would approve and then you will believe that all the materials are for attendances.
I am organising the GNOME PERU FEST for 5 years in a row and GNOME trust in my capacity as an organiser, they sponsor all the events I propose every year. I only did once for Fedora 17 in Peru because in Peru we do not have PayPal in Peru and my Fedora requests must of the time take so long to finally received a negative answer or partial acceptance. I am not alone in Lima with this, I have the support of the company I work: IBM because they see my job also as an organiser, I worked with them organising a GNU/Linux event last year. Besides that, I am a teacher in the university and I always promote the use of Fedora and GNOME during my labs because I teach GNU/Linux. And of course, all the time I do GNOME events, I promote the use of Fedora because GNOME must run on something. I really need soon an answer to print all the materials for the event. I will not only print the DVDs case, or burn the iso in all the DVDs, I was also planning to put the Fedora Logo everywhere (notebooks, banners, etc). Could you please do not take this as a claim, I will continue promote the use of Fedora if will receive again a negative answer from Fedora. I teach GNU/Linux in university so I will continue using Fedora to run GNOME <3. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

yulitas, no there any problem in obtain fedora resources for the event. the problem is at the event needs a Fedora representative. You can't take the both hats without neglecting any. but there are others ambassador that can take the hat at the event. Please ask for help for it. I'm sure that ambassadors in Lima can help you at the event. Please attend to the next meeting for talk about it and go forward with this topic.

Hello Fedora friends, I have to say thank you for the support for our GNOME event in Peru. As it was planned it was celebrated in Centro Cultural PetroPeru on March, 13th. Fedora logo was present in everysingle details we have in the event (notebooks, cupcakes, stickers, banners, screenshots during the event).
