Dear fellows,

We are organizing an event promote Fedora and related projects (Gluster, oVirt, Openshift, Openstack etc) at Facultad Regional Buenos Aires on Dec 13th in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Besides the conference, we are planning a general meeting with Ambassadors from Argentina to discuss activities for FY16, as well the bid for FUDCon 2015.

Most people participating this conference live in Buenos Aires and won't need any help from project to attend it. However there are some contributors from Cordoba, Entre Rios and Tierra del Fuego which want to participate, but they will need they assistance from Fedora Project to make it:

  • Valentin Basel and Matias Maceira will drive from Cordoba to Buenos Aires (about 1500 km, roundtrip) and they'll need around US$ 200 to pay the fuel and highway toll.

  • Adrian Soliard will take a bus from Entre Rios to Buenos Aires, and it will cost US$ 80 (roundtrip).

  • Julio Sanchez will take a flight from Tierra del Fuego (extreme South of Argentina) and it will cost US$ 500 (roundtrip).

They submitted the following activities for the conference:

  • Valentin will present a talk on Fedora Robotics and Education.

  • Matias will present talks on Firewall and QoS on Fedora.

  • Adrian will present a talk about Fedora Security Lab.

  • Julio will present a talk about Fedora at Company environments.

The total budget we are requesting for the 4 contributors mentioned above is US$ 780.

Julis's flight ticket cost was 4597.65 AR$ ( 540.9 USD at 8.5 AR$/USD).
The budget accepted for this ticket was 500 USD so he agreed to pay for the remaining 40.9 USD.
Since he cannot get the refund you could send the 500 USD to my paypal account "mkreder at gmail dot com" and I will send him 4250AR$ ( 500 USD * 8.5 ).

Matías and Valentin expenses:

200+499.94+490.25+370.01+259.96 = 1820.16 AR$ in fuel from Cordoba to Buenos Aires.

The budget was 200 USD, 200 * 8.5 would be AR$ 1700. I will transfer Matias 1700 AR$ I receive the refund in paypal.

Adrian's bus ticket cost was 760 AR$ (380 * 2)

The estimated budget was 80 USD, 680 AR$. I will transfer 680 AR$ to Adrian.

Total ticket budget is 780

I have ARS 7,177.81 receipts, that will be about USD 840. The request is for USD 780. This due partial sponsorship?

780 USD were approved on the meeting because we thought that was the required budget at that time. However, most of the tickets had an increase on the amount due to inflation and because they were bought close to the day of travel
