Hi everybody,
The krb5_validate option is normaly set to false by default. But I have a current problem and workaround solution is to set krb5_validate to false.
Workaround work, but why I set krb5_validate to false if this option is already set to false ?
Best regard,

Hi,
my guess is you are using the AD provider, here the default is 'True', see man sssd-ad section 'MODIFIED DEFAULT OPTIONS'.
But I agree that it would help to add something like '(AD provider: true)' in the sssd-krb5 man page, too, as it is done e.g. for krb5_use_enterprise_principal.
bye, Sumit
You are right, my apologies, In fact, I did not have the reflex to show another man page for this option :)
Thank you for your fast response
