#3872 SSSD 2.x does not sanitize domain name properly for D-bus, resulting in a crash
Closed: Fixed Opened by jhrozek.

Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Fedora): Bug 1645125

If a sssd domain name contains numbers, the 2.x branch fails to sanitize the name and crashes, e..g:

dbus[22893]: arguments to dbus_bus_request_name() were incorrect, assertion "_dbus_check_is_valid_bus_name (name)" failed in file ../../dbus/dbus-bus.c line 1122.
This is normally a bug in some application using the D-Bus library.
D-Bus not built with -rdynamic so unable to print a backtrace
