#3498 SSSD seems to not clear offline status (and/or set the offline status incorrectly) when switching between primary and back up servers
Closed: cloned-to-github by pbrezina. Opened by pbrezina.

Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7): Bug 1482470

Please note that this Bug is private and may not be accessible as it contains confidential Red Hat customer information.

Description of problem:
It appears that there is an edge case when one of the remote servers doesn't
work and sssd is switching between 'primary' and 'backup' servers. In this
context, the primary servers are site-local and the backup servers are
domain-wise.
It seems that we do not mark the server we can't connect to as not working, which may be why fail to fail over. So maybe we don't correctly set status of backup servers?
