Proposed title of this feature request
[RFE] Introduce option to differe min_id & max_id for users & groups.
What is the nature and description of the request?
Customer wants parameter like max_id_user, max_id_group, min_id_user,
min_id_group in SSSD so we can differ min_id for users & groups. Having a same
limits for UID and GID can be normal when we use privative groups that normally
have got the same name and GID than the users. When we don't do it, as in
customer case where UID and primary GID are not aligned and we would like to
ask the implementation above parameters to have a fine grained control.
