#21 NBS improvements regarding blocking requests to 127.0.0.1
Closed: Fixed by polcak. Opened by polcak.

See https://github.com/polcak/jsrestrictor/issues/125 and related issues.

Many users have DNS blockers incorrectly set up to redirect some domains to 127.0.0.1. This obviously triggers NBS but the users do not know what is happening. While adding additional options to NBS settings, can you have a look at the issue and think about additional possibilities, how to explain to users what is happening (for example changing the text of the notification if the target is 127.0.0.1 or ::1)?

But keep in mind, that there are scans of localhost that NBS finds https://jshelter.org/localportscanning/

- Issue set to the milestone: NLNet evaluation

This issue is listed in FAQ, we added some explanation texts. Users can disable notification for NBS. I think that we can close this one.
