Summary

https://wsj.com integrates captcha form captcha-delivery.com. It seems to work in Firefox but is broken in Chromium.

Browser: Only Chromium affected, it works in Firefox

How to reproduce

1. Go to https://wsj.com in Chromium.
2. You see a page stating that it verifies the device.
3. I got through the first verification page but was denied at the seconds stage.

Expected result

A list of news that is shown in Firefox.

Actual result

I can see a page stating that access is blocked due to unusual activity from my specific IP address. Reasons might include rapid taps or clicks, JS disabled or not working, or use of developer or inspection tools.

Reproducibility

I was able to see WSJ on another machine in both Chrome and Edge. It looks that reproducing this issue might be a problem.

Workarounds

Changing Worker to Strict does not help.
