#50835 dsctl healthcheck issues error : type object 'datetime.date' has no attribute 'fromisoformat'

Ticket was cloned from Red Hat Bugzilla (product Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8): Bug 1793060

This is happening because the code was written upstream which was using python
3.7, but RHEL is using python 3.6 which does not have "fromisoformat".  Need to
work on a new approach...
