Everyone wants directory server to be fast, so to achieve this we need metrics and stats into the server's performance.
This will involve creating repeatable tests that can run against remote hosts, allowing variables to be changed to generate metrics.
This also includes supporting tools like mutrace and systemtap to generate timings of events to find suspicious behaviours.
